Career Center

The Marlboro College Career Center is a great resource for finding jobs, internships, and opportunities. Desha Peacock, career counselor, can work with you on everything from resumes to internships to job opportunties to graduate school applications. The Career Center is located in Gander 8.

  • Travel (U.S. Department of State)
    Official U.S. Government information on required travel documents, health recommendations, emergency situations, embassies and consulates, and more.

Search for Internships and Businesses/Organizations

  • Idealist.org
    Free website that lets you search for nonprofit and government agencies, internship opportunities, and more by area of interest, type of organization, geographical location. A great first place to start!
  • GoAbroad.com
    Find international organizations and opportunities. If you find an organization you're interested in, try cross-checking it on Idealist.org.
  • Monster.com Advanced Search
    Probably the best known job search site, Monster.com also lists internship opportunities. Use the advanced search and limit to Job Type = Internship.
  • Career Transitions
    Includes many handy career tools, including an interests inventory, resume wizard, and job listings search engine. Use as a guest or log in and save your information.
  • Volunteers for Peace
    Vermont non-profit membership organization that offers opportunities to volunteer abroad in over 3000 projects in more than 100 countries worldwide including the USA.
  • Business & Company Resource Center
    Use the Company Search to get information about larger US and international companies. Provided by Rice-Aron Library.
  • Nook: Internships & Career Opportunities
    Desha Peacock, Marlboro's career counselor, regularly posts internship opportunities on Marlboro's online community, Nook. Marlboro login required.
  • CareerLink (Marlboro College)
